In high school girl’s soccer, F-M edged Victor, 3-2; Webster Schroeder wasted Canandaigua, 5-0; Honeoye upended Naples, 3-0; and Dundee beat Hammondsport, 3-1.
On the boy’s side, Marcus Whitman slipped by South Seneca, 3-2; Southern Cayuga smacked Jordan-Elbridge, 3-0; and PSLA all over Auburn, 7-1.
In men’s college soccer, Union clobbered Keuka, 4-1; Wells fell to SUNY Canton in OT, 1-0; and Hobart over Salisbury, 2-0.
In women’s action, #7 William Smith took down #4 Hardin-Simmons, 2-0; and Wells took an OT decision at SUNY Canton, 1-0.
In NY-Penn league baseball, Auburn is now 1.5 games out of 1st with 3 to play, as the Doubledays knocked off Williamsport, 6-2.
In the IL, Syracuse bumped off Buffalo, 7-4; while Lehigh Valley bested Rochester, 3-1.
