On August 28th, 2018 the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Rod H. W. Sprague, 35 of Ridge Rd, Wolcott and Jacqueline K. Wyatt, 37 of Alport St, Wolcott following a traffic stop on State Route 104 in the Town of Sodus.
Sprague was the operator of a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation when it was discovered there was a current stay away order of protection between him and Wyatt who was in the passenger seat. The investigation also revealed there was a small amount of marihuana and crack cocaine in the vehicle as well as Sprague was operating the motor vehicle while impaired by a drug.
Subsequently Sprague was arrested for driving while ability impaired by a drug, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminal contempt in the second degree. Wyatt was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and unlawful possession of marihuana.
Wyatt was released on appearance tickets for the Town of Sodus court and will appear on September 12th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Sprague was arraigned in the Town of Sodus Court before the Honorable Justice Fratangello and remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $500.00 cash or $1,000.00 bond. He will return to Sodus Court on September 12th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.
