Harold Lee Watts passed away peacefully on Friday (August 24, 2018) at the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday August 31st at the Clifton Springs United Methodist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4 p.m. at church. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery with Military Honors.
Contributions may be made to the Shortsville Fire Dept. or the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center activity fund in Harold’s memory.
Harold was born March 1, 1933 in Dundee, N.Y. the son of the late Oliver and Carrie Watts. He served from 1952 to 1956 in the US Navy during the Korean War. Harold retired from G.W. Lisk in 1999 after 42 years of service. After his wife’s passing in 2011 Harold enjoyed Casino Gaming. Harold also enjoyed woodworking, bowling and gardening. He was also an avid fisherman. But most of all, Harold was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all.
Harold is survived by his children Michael (Terry) Watts, Jeffrey (Naomi) Watts and Mark (Michelle) Watts; six grandchildren; siblings in the Dundee area; nieces and nephews.
Harold is predeceased by his wife, Shirley M. Watts in 2011.
