The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Williamson man following the report of a domestic dispute.
Deputies responded to 4327 Ridge Road after witnesses contacted 911, stating that there were a male and female involved in a physical altercation outside the home. Upon arrival, deputies located Jacob Will, age 23, of the Ridge Road address. After investigation into the incident, it was determined that there was an active Refrain From Order of Protection issued out of the Marion Town Court, and that Mr. Will had violated that order by physically pulling his girlfriend out of her vehicle and throwing her on the ground. Mr. Will was subsequently arrested for Harassment 2nd and Criminal Contempt 1st. He was arraigned in the Town of Williamson Court and remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $500/$750 bail. He is to reappear in the Town of Williamson Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
