Auburn police and city officials will hold a second walkabout next Tuesday evening as part of a new community outreach initiative. They will chat with residents at their homes on North Division, Washington and Seymour Streets.
City Clerk Chuck Mason said on Friday’s Finger Lakes Morning News Mayor Michael Quill at Thursday’s City Council meeting reported on the first walkabout held Monday evening in the Westlake area.
Police Chief Shawn Butler said before last Monday’s outing everyone wants a safe community.
Councilor Terry Cuddy called the walk was one of the highlights of his five years on the city council.
