The daughter of a Town of Ontario woman killed in February of 2017 was sentenced to 20 years in prison Thursday.
Jasmine Harlee pleaded guilty to a charge of 2nd degree murder after she helped plan the death of her mom, Julie Martin, and enlisted the help of three people in a plot to collect on a 30-THOUSAND dollar life insurance policy. Julie Martin’s body was found inside of a trailer on Jonathan Lane.
One of three other suspects, 22 year old Knowledge Couser, of Rochester, pleaded guilty last week to a charge of 2nd degree murder.
The two other suspects in the case are still facing their respective trials.
