From the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office:
Sheriff Luce reports that the State of Emergency in South Seneca County has been reduced to the Town of Lodi. The curfew in effect last night for the Lodi Point, Lower Lake Road Area is again in effect this evening from 7:30 PM until sunrise.
Sheriff Luce stated that Deputies will be resuming regular patrol duties as the rescue portion of the Flood Operation is at a close. State Agencies will continue the recovery and clean up phase of the operation. The Sheriff would like to especially recognize the Seneca County Volunteer Fire and E.M.S. Services for their outstanding contribution in an emergency.
Marine Patrols from the Sheriff’s Office, Environmental Conservation and Park Police rescued a total of 62 persons; there was no loss of life.
