News Release from the Karle Campaign-
TEAM KENYON SUPPORTER FLOYD RAYBURN CAUGHT TAKING KITTY KARLE SIGNS
On Monday, August 6th, Floyd Rayburn, a top Kenyon campaign member, was caught by a homeowner removing Kitty Karle for Judge signs and replacing them with Russ Kenyon’s signs. After a complaint was filed with the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, the signs were then left on the lawn of a homeowner in Gorham. Rayburn admitted to authorities he took the signs.
This is the most recent blatant example of the Kenyon campaign resorting to negative tactics to personally smear Kitty Karle and her campaign. In the last few months the Kenyon campaign has distorted and promoted negative information in the press and social media. Lying to the voters and taking campaign signs is not the type of tactics that should not be used in the election for Ontario County Judge.
“I call on Russ Kenyon and his campaign team to immediately cease and desist from these negative and improper campaign tactics. I again ask Russ Kenyon to sign the Fair Campaign Pledge which to date he has refused to sign. I call upon Russ Kenyon to disavow Floyd Rayburn’s actions,” states Karle.
Kitty Karle also added, “I choose to speak about my experience in the courtroom, my ethics and about my commitment to our county with honesty and fairness. If a judicial candidate can’t do that and resorts to dirty campaigning, I think that speaks volumes to voters.”
Unfortunately this is not the first time that Kitty Karle signs have been improperly taken. More reports to law enforcement are forthcoming.
