The 41st Great Race takes over the northern end of Owasco Lake on Sunday, with hundreds of 2, 3, or 4 person teams taking part in the nation’s largest team only run, bike and paddle triathlon.
Jim Hanley is one of three original organizers of the event still on board. He said on Wednesday’s Finger Lakes Morning News he needs some help.
If you can help you’ll get a free lunch and T-shirt. Volunteers are also needed for the dry land races.
You can volunteer by calling 315-252-7139 or by going online to the Great Race website.
