The life and memory of Auburn High School softball player Chloe Calhoun will be celebrated at Falcon Park on the evening of August 24 when Auburn firefighters and police officers take the field in the 1st annual Chloe Calhoun Charity Softball Game.
Firefighter Matt Evans and Officer Chris White appeared on Monday’s Finger Lakes Morning News. He said they approached Chloe’s mother about holding the game and it took off from there.
Evans added it’s going to be a fun night for everyone.
White said the outcome is a foregone conclusion.
The losing chief gets to enjoy the post-game dunk tank.
The game gets underway at 7:00 pm on Friday, August 24, and admission is $2.
Ted Baker and Steve Penstone will call the game live on WAUB.
