A 28 year old North Rose man was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office on charges of obstructing governmental administration and unlawful possession of marijuana.
The Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a complaint about items being thrown out of a car window on State Route 104, striking a car which was following. Deputies located the car when it turned onto a side road. After Nelson Wright’s car was stopped, an odor of marijuana was noticed coming from it. Wright, the only occupant of the vehicle, was asked to stand at the back of the car while a search was being conducted. While deputies were searching the vehicle, Wright allegedly attempted to interfere by grabbing one of the deputies.
Deputies located a very small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia in the vehicle, as well as a small amount on him. He was issued an appearance ticket for Huron Town Court.
