A pair of playgrounds at the largest state park in Cayuga County are going to get a makeover.
Gov. Cuomo announced on Thursday the playgrounds at Fair Haven Beach State Park are two of 14 playgrounds getting $2.5 Million in upgrades as part of the state’s plan to modernize 100 state park playgrounds by 2020.
Modern playgrounds will replace the outdated jungle gyms, and there will also be improvements to seating, water fountains and canopies.
The news follows the announcement earlier in the year of $1.5 Million in upgrades to the more than 30 cabins and cottages in the park.
