Mary Dale Judd Walmsley, a former Waterloo resident, passed Saturday (July 28, 2018) at Evelyn’s House Hospice in St. Louis, Mo.
Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 4) with celebration of life immediately at 4 p.m. at Troy United Methodist Church, 407 Edwardsville Rd., Troy, Ill.
Memorial contributions may be made to Harvest Ministry Teams or Partners for Pets through the Troy United Methodist Church.
Mary Dale was born Dec. 14, 1942, in Waterloo, N.Y., the daughter of Clare and Evelyn Judd. She was a 1960 graduate of Waterloo High School. Throughout her lifetime, she was employed at the Seneca Army Depot in Romulus, N.Y., Granite City School District, Taylor-Brown Memorial hospital, Bernard and Davidson Law Firm, and Saint Elizabeth Medical Center.
Mary was an active member of the Troy United Methodist Church. She supported Harvest Ministry Teams, Global International, Compassion International, and other Christian outreach programs.
In 2016 Mary was recognized and honored by the Wood River Masonic Lodge 1062 for her work and contributions to their meetings and fundraising activities.
Mary is survived by her husband, Gilbert Walmsley; children, Daniel (Patricia) Graville of Scottsdale, Ariz., Catherine Graville Willis of Wood River, Ill; step-daughters, Kit (Martin) Morrissey of Edwardsville, Ill.; Susannah (Jason) Massie of Granite City, Ill,; grandchildren, Nathan and Mitchell Graville of Scottsdale, Ariz., Leanne (Christian) Willis Roderick of Springfield, Mo., step-grandchildren; Maggie Morrissey of Chicago, Ill, and Matt Morrissey of Columbia, Mo.; brother, Bill (Barb) Judd of Waterloo, N.Y.; sister, Phyllis (Barry) Van Lare of Reston, Va.; nephew, Ian Van Lare; and nieces, Sherryl Van Lare and Susan (Curt) Bathras.
