It’s been nearly a week since Gov. Cuomo showed up in Auburn to present a $10 Million check for the Central NY Downtown Revitalization Initiative competition.
City Manager Jeff Dygert said on Thursday’s Finger Lakes Morning News while the planning is pushing ahead, the money is not the city’s to spend as it sees fit.
He added the proposals will continue to evolve.
Many of the projects that made up the victorious bid were included in the first two DRI bids that were won by Oswego and Cortland.
