An Auburn woman that spent time in prison following her conviction on aggravated DWI charges back in 2014 was arrested Tuesday morning for allegedly driving drunk.
State Police stopped 33-year-old Michelle Andujar on Thornton Avenue. She allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests. Andujar was charged with DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both felonies. Andujar was sent to Cayuga County Jail without bail.
In 2013, Andujar was drunk behind the wheel of a car that crashed into a parked vehicle on Wall Street in Auburn. 5 children were in the car with her at the time of the accident, all unrestrained and suffered injuries as a result. She admitted to drinking and taking prescription medications before getting behind the wheel in the 2013 crash.
