A Corning woman was arrested early Thursday morning on three counts of endangering the welfare of a child after she allegedly left her three young children alone while she was out with a friend allegedly smoking marijuana.
Corning Police responded to a Davis Street residence around 1 a.m. for the report of a disturbance. When they arrived on scene, they found 39-year-old Joy Edelmann asleep behind the wheel of a running car in the driveway. Officers say the children were inside of the home.
Edelmann was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawfully growing cannabis.
