A Saturday morning one car accident on Route 414 in the town of Seneca Falls injured one person.
According to the Seneca Falls Police Department, 63 year old Darryl Gill, of Canandaigua, reportedly fell asleep at the wheel while driving south shortly after 7 a.m. His vehicle drifted across the roadway and into a field, striking a driveway pole belonging to a local business and a NYSEG light pole. The vehicle sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene. A passenger in the car, 53 year old Lulllie Wethington, of Geneva, complained of head pain from striking her head against the windshield and was transported by ambulance for treatment.
Gill was uninjured.
