A 37-year old Seneca Falls man was seriously injured after being involved in a two-car accident at the intersection of Ovid and Bridge Streets in the town of Ovid just before noon Thursday.
Daniel Brotherton was traveling east through the intersection when a car driven by 73-year-old James Harmon, of Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, collided with him. Brotherton was reportedly struck by his own car after being ejected from it. He was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of back, chest and leg injuries.
Harmon and his passenger were taken to Geneva General Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
