The signs are up and the work is set to get underway on the massive North Division Street bridge replacement project. Preliminary work on the major cone zone that will impact traffic for months is set to begin next month.
On Thursday, Auburn City Council will vote to authorize $5.7 Million in bonds that City Manager Jeff Dygert says will maintain proper cash flow throughout the project.
Auburn City Council also votes on a $3 Million bond proposal to finance the plan to turn Falcon Park into a multi-sports facility that would be used by the Auburn Doubledays and Cayuga Community College.
The College Board of Trustees will have to give its blessing to the project before the work could get underway in hopes of having the turf installed for the 2019 spring college baseball season.
The agenda also includes resolutions for Consolidated Funding Applications as well as funding for a new ice making system and a women’s locker room at Casey Park Arena.
