Voters will be headed to the polls in less than four months, so candidates are working hard on adding to their campaign war chests. Democratic State legislative candidate Keith Batman raked in more cash than his Republican rival, Assemblyman Gary Finch.
The Citizen reports Batman, who’s currently a Cayuga County Legislator, raised nearly 23-thousand dollars in his first fundraising period as a candidate in the 126th Assembly district. In the first half of 2018, Finch brought in over 11-thousand-500 dollars to his bid for re-election.
Finch was first elected in 1999.
