Louis J. “Louie” Bilia, 79, of Bridge St., Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday (July 14, 2018) at his residence.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Monday (July 16) Louie’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday (July 17) at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, with the Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls.

Louie was born in Seneca Falls, N.Y. on July 9, 1939 the son of the late Luigi & Recordina Fusari Bilia. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and was retired from Gould’s Pumps of Seneca Falls. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church of Seneca Falls and the S.M.S. of Seneca Falls. Louie played softball in his earlier years and help coach Little League when his two sons played. He loved playing Euchre and his trips to the casino. He was an avid New York Yankee and Cleveland Browns fan. He loved his cats. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends
He is survived by two sons Robert (Bobbi Jo) Bilia, Seneca Falls, N.Y., John Bilia, Seneca Falls, N.Y.;. four grandchildren Kyle (Arley) Jurjens, Amanda (Bryon Sherriff) Calkins, Christopher Bilia, & Mikayla (Josh Thomas) Bilia; two great-grandchildren, Dax Jurjens & Aiden Sherriff; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Lou was predeceased byhis wife, Anna Bilia who died December 13, 2008; two brothers Robert Bilia & Ettore Bilia and his wife, Rena.
