The former Geneva resident accused in last month’s killing of a person inside the New Jersey home of his brother who plays for the New York Giants waived extradition Friday.
William Jenkins, Junior, was arrested June 25th by State Police after they were called to the Expressmart store on Collett Road in Farmington for the report of a suspicious person. Jenkins told authorities he had been in the store for close to two hours waiting to buy fuel. A check of his license revealed it was not valid and that he was on parole for a drug conviction. Jenkins was taken into custody on a parole violation warrant. In New Jersey two days later, he was charged with aggravated manslaughter in connection with the murder of a 25 year old family friend, whose body was found in the home of Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins.
The victim in the case was a 25 year old hip-hop music producer.
