|The Wayne County Office of Sheriff reports the arrest of several people during the Annual “Blowoff Day” in Sodus Point. Deputies responded to Sodus Point following a call of a fight. Upon investigation, three individuals were arrested. Jarvis Knight, age 24, of Jackson Hill Road was arrested for Disorderly Conduct. He was arraigned in the Town of Sodus Court and remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $100 bail. Ozzman Garcia, age 24, or East Main Street in Waterloo was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Obstruction of Governmental Administration. He was issued tickets and released to appear at a later date. Juan DeJesus, age 19, of East North Street in Geneva was also arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Obstruction of Governmental Administration. He was issued tickets and released to appear at a later date.
Also arrested during the day was Julian Jacobs, age 40, of Minsteed Road. He was arrested for Trespass and Disorderly Conduct after he went to a residence on Greig Street and refused to leave upon being asked to do so. He pled guilty at the Sodus Court and was ordered to pay a fine and released.
Deputies arrested John Aranbula, age 29, of Devonshire Circle in Penfield for Boating While Intoxicated. He was arrested after the boat he was operating nearly collided with an Environmental Conservation boat. He was found to be operating his vessel in an intoxicated condition with a BAC of .15%. He was issued tickets for Boating While Intoxicated and Unregistered Vessel.
Christopher Bell, age 23, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct after he was observed impeding traffic by repeatedly walking into the roadway, impeding the use of the roadway by drivers. He was arraigned in the Town of Sodus Court and remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $100 bail.
Also arrested was Travis Beluke, age 24, of Ridge Road in Ontario. He was stopped for a traffic violation. Upon stopping the vehicle, deputies determined he was operating the vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. He was arrested for Aggravated DWI with a BAC of .18 or above, and Moving from Lane Unsafely, as well as Refusal of Breath Screening Test. He was issued tickets and is to appear in the Town of Sodus Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
The Wayne County Office of Sheriff was assisted by New York State Police, Sodus Town Ambulance Corps, Environmental Conservation Police, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Ontario County Sheriff’s Office and Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
