George A. Estes, age 97, formerly a lifelong resident of Waterloo, New York, passed away June 27, 2018 at the Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday (July 14) at 2 p.m. at Christ Presbyterian Church. His cremains will be interred in his home town of New York.
His family request memorials be made to the Christ Presbyterian Church, 5657 Pleasant View Dr., Milford, Ohio 45150.
He was born September 28, 1920 in Claymont, Delaware the son of Ray and Alice (nee Mallory) Estes. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during W.W.II and retired from the ITT Goulds Pumps in Seneca Falls, New York as a supervisor.
He is survived by his children and spouses Gloria and the late James Orsini, Peggy Crisco, grandchildren Denise, Troy, Vincent, Leon, Alicia, Christopher and Stacey, ten great-grandchildren; and dearest friend, Phyllis Welch.
His wife, Alice (nee Colvin) Estes preceded him in death in 2006, as did their daughter, Linda Estes; and his siblings Frances, Earl, John, Ray.
