The investigation into a pedestrian being struck by a car at the intersection of South Main and Niagara streets in Canandaigua late Friday afternoon continues.
A passenger car was traveling north on South Main Street and was approaching the intersection of Niagara when it struck a woman that was attempting to cross South Main from the east. Canandaigua Police say the woman was attempting to cross the intersection at a time when the passenger vehicle had a green light. The woman was also outside the crosswalk at the time of the accident.
The unidentified victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
