The Elmira man found guilty of killing a Bronx woman in December 2016 will be sentenced Monday morning.
40-year-old Kimani Meadows was accused of shooting and killing 33-year-old Robyn Roper along Draht Hill Road in Elmira.
Roper’s body was found in the road by a passing motorist.
Meadows was found guilty of 2nd-degree murder and three counts of weapons possession.
He is already serving 23 years in prison in a non-fatal December 2016 shooting that occurred one week after Roper’s murder, also in Elmira.
Meadows faces in additional 25 years behind bars.
