Despite the many challenges she faced in her life, Martha was a happy independent person who always “did her own thing”. She volunteered at the Westminster Early Childhood Center in Buffalo from 1979-2000 and at the Irondequoit Community Center for several years. She was honored by both organizations for her loyalty, conscientiousness and dedication to the tasks assigned her. There was not a person she worked with or met who did not like her. Martha enjoyed watching old tv series, doing word search puzzles, making tea for her mother every day and doing chores around the house. She looked forward to visits from her niece and nephews and their children.
Survived by her mother, Marion; brothers Michael of Ga. and Joseph (Alyson) of N.C.; sister, Virginia (John) DiGiovanni; niece and nephews Anne Marie (Michael) Cohoon, Michael J. DiGiovanni and Charles Laudenslayer; uncles Vincent and Frank Amico; aunt, Dorothy Amico; grand-nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by her father, Charles.
