Roy Buckert, 84, passed away Thursday (June 28, 2018) at Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
In keeping with Roy’s wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Burial will be private in Maple Cemetery, Waterloo.
Roy was born July 2, 1933 in Rochester, the son of the late Carlton and Evelyn (Dunham) Buckert. He was a graduate of John Marshall High School. Prior to driving for the medical transport service for Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Roy worked at G. W. Lisk Company in the steel room. He was known to enjoy a nice cold beer.
Roy is survived by his daughter, Melinda Buckert of Florida; his son, Michael (Amy) Bucker of Macedon; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Roy was predeceased by his wife, Anna May (Yonge) Buckert in 2002.
