On June 29, State Troopers arrested 71-year old William Mawhir of Moravia for driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than .08% and moving from lane unsafely.
Troopers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Beech Road in the Town of Sennett. Mawhir was placed under arrest after failing multiple standard field sobriety tests. He was transported to the Auburn barracks, where he provided a breath sample of .15.
Mawhir was issued uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Sennett Court on July 11
