He’s not running for reelection in November, but Republican Assemblyman Bob Oaks says he will be taking an active role in what he and others feel is one of the most important elections in recent history.
He said on Monday’s Finger Lakes Morning News it will be important for the GOP to control at least one of the chambers in Albany, especially if Gov. Cuomo is elected to a third term.
While Oaks supports some aspects of Gov. Cuomo’s Downtown Revitalization Initiatives and Regional Economic Development grants, GOP gubernatorial candidate Marc Molinaro says they do little to help the vast majority of New Yorkers.
