The man accused of killing a Corning woman last August was in court Friday for an evidentiary hearing.
The Corning Leader reports the hearing centered around whether a 3-hour FBI interview with Lloyd Neurauter will be admitted into evidence at his 1st-degree murder trial.
Prosecutors say Neurauter, with the help of his daughter, Karrie, killed Michelle Neurauter inside her home, then staged the scene to make the death look like a suicide.
Karrie Neurauter pleaded guilty to 2nd-degree murder in March and will serve 15 years to life in prison.
Lloyd Neurauter’s trial begins in September.
