Downtown Auburn will be turned into a giant art gallery for much of July as the ARC of Seneca Cayuga and the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce present Art in Public Places.
Ed Sayles with the ARC said on Friday’s Finger Lakes Morning News 60 pieces of digital art by artists with developmental disabilities will be on display.
He added it’s more than just highlighting the brilliant work of the artists.
The month long event kicks off on July 6 with the grand opening at ARC’s Spotlight Studio on Genesee Street in downtown Auburn. The works will then be displayed at the Chamber of Commerce and five banks before the entire display shifts to the Seymour Public Library.
