Kenny Steinruck, age 51, of 2271 East Seneca Street, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday (June 24, 2018).
The family will be hosting a celebration of his life at the Interlaken Sportsmen’s Club, 8561 Tunison Road, on Sunday (July 1, 2018). A time of sharing and reflection will be held at 1 p.m., and the celebration will continue until 3 p.m.
Kenny was born on April 19, 1967 in Waterloo, the son of Kenneth and Linda Steinruck Sr. He was a graduate of South Seneca High School, and had worked as a mechanic at Interlaken Auto for most of his life. He was also a bartender at the Eagle Hotel in Lodi and the Interlaken Sportsmen’s Club, of which he was a longtime member. Kenny is also a life member of the Interlaken Fire Department. “Uncle Kenny” as he was known as by many, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Kenny is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Jake) Albro of Ovid; a grandson, Forrest Albro; his mother, Linda (Dave Thompson) Steinruck of Lodi; his father, Kenneth Steinruck Sr. of Scranton, Pa.; and siblings Dennis (Nichole) Steinruck of Ovid and Mary (Ed) Granger of Ovid.
