Mrs. Judith (Hegel) Martin passed away Monday (June 11) at Halifax Hospital, Daytona Beach, Florida.

She was formerly of Maryland, and had moved in 1997 to Port Orange, Florida. She was married to David W. Hodge whose death preceded her in 2007. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Martin. She was born in Geneva, New York, the daughter of the late Charles Leonard “Len” and Mary (Peck) Hegel of Geneva, NY, and Port Orange, Florida. She was a graduate of Geneva High’s class of 1958. She loved sewing, ceramics, wooden crafts with her husband Frank, and gardening.
She was the loving mother of Steven Hodge (Mardou) of Green Valley, California, David Hodge (Pamela) of Alabama, Warren Shane Hodge of Port Orange, Fla., Julie Bellafiore of Walkersville, Maryland, and William (Gretchen) Hodge of Houston, Texas; grandmother of Celina and Diego Hodge, David and Ronnie Hodge, Lisa, Robyn and Matthew Bellafiore, and Bailey and Audrey Hodge. She is also survived by her loving sister, Marilyn (Hegel) Gallagher of Halferty of Williamsville, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews.
Judith was predeceased by her brother, Charles Leonard “Len” Hegel, Jr. (Mary) and sister, Joan Tully (Michael).
