The Geneva man charged in connection with a homicide that occurred last December was found guilty by an Ontario County jury Friday.
Willie McKoy, Junior, was found guilty of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon. McKoy stood accused of killing 38 year old Pliekou Irvin, Senior, last December 5th while Irvin sat in the passenger seat of a parked car in the vicinity of Exchange and Middle Streets. Two witnesses testified they saw McKoy shoot Irvin. McKoy was arrested the following morning following a standoff with police in Wolcott.
He faces up to 40 years to life in prison when sentenced August 20th.
