The most technologically advanced housing development in the northeastern United States will break ground Thursday in Geneva. Tracey Wallace tells us more about a new solar village
The solar powered homes are unique in that they work together during a grid outage to provide electricity, heat, and clean water for residents. Tracey gives us a timeline for the project.
It’s hoped residents will be able to live in the homes starting in December. Thursday’s groundbreaking is from 5 until 8 and the public is invited to attend. The project was awarded $1.25M of the total $10M awarded through the Downtown Revitalization Initiative for the City of Geneva.
