According to a news release issued over the weekend, Tom Reed’s campaign outpaced the entire field of challengers, raising more than $250,000 between April 1st and June 6th while reporting more than $1 million cash on hand.
“Our campaign is growing every day and we are appreciative of the generous support from our neighbors in the Southern Tier, Finger Lakes, and Western New York,” said Tom Reed. “It is an honor to represent the 23rd Congressional District, to stand up and fight for the shared values that we all care about.”
The campaign was humbled by the contributions of hundreds of individual New Yorkers and encouraged by the outpouring of thousands of new pledges to volunteer and support the campaign from our neighbors.
“With continued record grassroots engagement and more than ten times as much cash on hand as our nearest Extreme Ithaca Liberal opponent, we are in our strongest position ever at this point in a campaign,” said Nicholas Weinstein, Campaign Manager for Tom Reed for Congress. “Tom Reed cares about the hardworking families in this district and it’s only fair they have a representative who listens and represents their values. We look forward to working every day to earn the support of every voter in the 23rd Congressional District.”
