Two Rochester women have been arrested by Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies on possession of stolen property charges.
Deputies responded to a Junius business Friday for the report of a larceny in progress. Upon further investigation, it was discovered 21 year old Keondra Brooks and 29 year old Phontasia Jackson had stolen from three separate businesses. Brooks was also charged with possession of burglar’s tools for being in possession of a tinfoil lined bag used to circumvent security tags. Jackson faces an additional charge of criminal impersonation for impersonating another person with intent to evade active warrants under her real name.
Following their arraignments, both were sent to Seneca County Jail.
