Wells College has announced the hiring of Paul Applebee as the College’s new registrar and director of institutional research.
Applebee most recently served as the academic advisor and registrar at Bryant and Stratton College in Liverpool. Initially hired by Bryant and Stratton as a financial aid coordinator in 2012, Applebee was soon promoted to residence life director/academic advisor, serving in those capacities from 2013-2015. He performed in dual roles for much of his tenure at Bryant and Stratton, winning five “Above and Beyond” awards in recognition of his dedication and hard work.
In a statement, Provost and Dean of the College Cindy Speaker says “Wells will benefit immensely from Paul’s experience at a critical time when the College is formalizing institutional research as part of this inaugural director role.”
Applebee earned his B.A in English and textual studies and English education from Syracuse University. He will begin his duties on Monday.
