Residents in the Dundee school district approved a proposed capital project Wednesday. The vote 116 in favor and 61 against.
The 7.7-MILLION dollar project focuses on security improvements to the main school facility, renovations to the bus garage and roof replacement work. The district is eligible for 81.7-percent state aid and it will use one-MILLION dollars in reserves to offset the impact on local property taxes.
Work could be finished by the 2019-2020 school year.
