An emotional press conference was held Tuesday by Leaders from the Workers’ Center of Central New York regarding the death of Selena Hidalgo-Calderon in Sodus and her missing 14-month old boy, Owen. The group is assisting Selena’s family in the aftermath of her alleged murder. Rebecca Fuentes read a letter written by Selena’s mother Estella, who was not in attendance.
Fuentes says some good has come from the horrific that has happened.
Alberto Reyes appeared in federal court Monday on charges of illegally re-entering the United States after being deported twice. In Selena’s death, he’s accused of tampering with evidence, admitting to moving her body and burying it.
Funeral services for Selena Hidalgo-Calderon are incomplete at this time.
