Finger Lakes Health will host the ENFit® (Enteral Feeding Connectors)
Regional Summit on June 27 at the Ramada Inn Geneva Lakefront, 41 Lakefront Drive, Geneva. The program provides five continuing education hours for nurses and physical therapists. The summit is supported by GEDSA.
This regional meeting will focus on the new enteral feeding system with ENFit connections. The international initiative is to focus on patient safety and preventing tubing misconnections. This program will help introduce attendees to the products through vendor demonstrations and collaboration with organizations who are going through the transition.
Anyone involved in enteral tube feeding or enteral tube medication delivery, including, but not limited to: hospital representatives from nursing, pharmacy, nutrition, care management and supply chain; home health care agencies, including enteral infusion companies and home health nursing agencies; retail pharmacies and distributors; long term care facility employees, group homes and other community agencies; and primary care providers who have patients receiving enteral tube feedings or medications, are encouraged to attend this meeting.
