Herman C. “Bill” Lyman, Jr. 89, of Lyman Rd. died on Thursday (May 24, 2018) at Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday (June 1) at Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main Street, N. Rose, NY. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday (June 2) at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Cemetery with Military Honors.

Bill was born on April 27, 1929 in Rose, N.Y. to Herman C. and Olive B. Dickens Lyman. He retired in 1991 from Cadbury Schweppes in Williamson, N.Y. He served in the Armed Forces of the United States Army from 1948–1952. He was a member of the Rose Grange 1051, Wolcott American Legion, Post 881, Wayne County Sheriff’s Bowl, Palmyra Moose Lodge 1420, Cyprus Moose Legion #202 in Florida, Moose Fellow, BPOE Wolcott Lodge 1763, Sodus Masonic Lodge #392, F.A.A.M, Rochester Consistory, 32nd degree, Master Temple Shrine and the Wayne County Shrine Club.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Mettler Lyman; children Wayne (Kristine) Lyman, Bonnie (Edwin) Jarvis and William (Larna) Lyman; many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sister, Leona Millilo; brother, Robert (Louise) Lyman; many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sister, Esther Osborn and his brother, Charles Lyman.
