Cayuga County Sheriff David Gould and Treasurer Jim Orman will host their 9th annual Sheriff Treasurer Clambake from 3:00pm until 7:00pm on Friday at Yawgerbrook campground.
Orman said on Friday’s Finger Lakes Morning News it’s a fundraiser with a difference.
The event supports Auburn’s Tyburn Academy.
Orman and Gould have been friends since they were discharged from the military in the early 70’s.
Because of their military service, they’ve thrown support behind the Homes for Troops program.
This year’s clambake will also give you a chance to celebrate Sheriff Gould’s retirement at the end of the year. Tickets are $60 and are available by calling Joanne Fields at 315-258-3136 or Jim Orman at 315-253-1491.
