If you have old electronics in the house or garage, now is the time to get rid of them in the correct manner. you can drop them off at Cayuga Onondaga BOCES on Saturday morning.
Judy Wright from the Cornell Cooperative Extension says the partner agencies have everything ready to go.
You can drop off most electronics for free, but if you have an older TV with a leaded glass screen you will be asked for a $10 donation to cover part of the recycling cost.
In addition to electronics, you can also have documents shredded, and the Rescue Mission will be on hand to recycle textiles. The event runs from 9:00am until 1:00pm on Saturday, rain or shine.
