Just one person spoke at last nights public hearing on the Auburn City budget.
City Clerk Chuck Mason said on Friday’s Finger Lakes Morning News Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center Director Donna Lamb thanked City Council for including $20,000 for development of the downtown arts district in next year’s budget. She suggested the city could get more bank for its buck by combining the funds with grant funding obtained by a group known as CNY Arts.
City Council will vote on the finalized spending plan on June 7. The budget goes into effect when the new fiscal year begins on July 1.
