On May 19, State Troopers arrested 46-year old Brian Hertel of Moravia for driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than .08% and making an unsafe lane change.
Hertel was stopped on Water Street in the Town of Locke for moving from the lane unsafely. He was placed under arrest after failing multiple standard field sobriety tests. Hertel was transported to SP Moravia where he provided a breath sample of .12.
Hertel was issued uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Locke Court on June 6.
