The Dundee school budget vote is Tuesday. The proposed 18.8-MILLION dollar budget is a 4.3-PERCENT increase over this year’s spending plan and carries with it a 2.7-PERCENT tax levy increase. We asked Business Administrator Melissa Lawson if the budget contained any program or staff cuts.
Melissa says there is a unique item in the budget that will immediately benefit students if the proposed spending plan is passed.
Six candidates are seeking three available seats on the Dundee School Board. Voting takes place Tuesday from noon until 8 in the DCS Public Meeting room.
