Auburn Police have arrested a man in connection with the passing of counterfeit $100 bills at several area businesses, but they continue to look for additional suspects.
48-year old Charles Bullock of Auburn has been charged with 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument. Captain James Moore tells Finger Lakes News Radio he allegedly passed the phony bills at Byrne Dairy and the Save-a-Lot in Auburn.
He advises business owners and employees to be alert for the counterfeit bills.
Captain Moore adds detectives are actively pursuing new leads and additional bill passers.
