Auburn Mayor Michael Quill announced at Thursday’s City Council meeting a two week public comment period is now open for you to voice your thoughts on the city’s bid in Governor Cuomo’s 3rd annual Downtown Revitalization Initiative contest.
City Clerk Chuck Mason said on Friday’s Finger Lakes Morning News the city’s bid needs to be submitted by June 1.
May is National Historic Preservation Month, and this year’s public comment period ties into the month’s theme ‘This Place Matters.’
The public comment period extends through May 25. You can also submit thoughts and ideas on the city website or by picking up an comment card at City Hall or the Downtown BID office on Genesee St.
